Object Speed Tool
Quote from admin on 9 May 2025, 7:58 amHere is a short video explaining the new Object Speed Tool in Cyclops. This tool is meant to be used when you have an object moving through your scene at a constant speed and want to adjust the speed the object is moving. The best example is a car. Say you have a car moving at 30mph, and you want to adjust the car’s speed to be 50mph. That’s where you can use the Object Speed tool.
You have to enter the Original speed the object was going, so say “30”. and then enter the new or desired speed, say, “50”. Cyclops will then do the math to adjust the playback rate of the animation so that the object is now moving at the new speed.
Note: this adjustment affects all the animation in the scene.
